What happens if it rains?

We keep a close eye on the radar! If the weather is unsafe (heavy rain, high winds, or lightning), the Captain will make the call to cancel. If we cancel due to weather, you’ll have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. We still sail in light sprinkles if conditions are safe.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Over 24 hours notice: You will receive a full refund. Within 24 hours notice: You will receive an average of a half refund (50%). No-shows: No refunds are provided for guests who do not show up for their scheduled departure.

Are there bathrooms on the boat?

Yes, we have a “head” (bathroom) available on our Melbourne vessel- this island for your convenience during the tour.

Do you provide drinks?

We provide complimentary bottled water for all guests. Since we are a BYOB boat, you are also welcome to bring your own favorite drinks and snacks! We have a cooler with ice on board to keep everything cold.

Standard/Shared Tours: We only allow Service Animals on shared public tours. Private Parties: If you book a Private Charter, you are welcome to bring other pets along!

Is this a narrated tour?

Yes! Our tours are fully orated. Our knowledgeable and entertaining Captains provide educational commentary about local wildlife, history, and the ecosystem of the Indian River Lagoon.

What animals will we see besides dolphins?

In addition to our resident dolphins, you may see: Manatees (Florida’s gentle giants). Alligators and Bull Sharks (they love our brackish water!). Birds: Ospreys, Pelicans (Brown and White), Great Blue Herons, Snowy Egrets, and the “snake-like” Anhingas. Summer Nights: Bioluminescent dinoflagellates and comb jellies.

When should we arrive for our tour?

Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled departure. This gives us time to get everyone checked in via the QR code waivers and go over the mandatory safety speech
